Paula C. Rogers

I have worked at Sandia Hearing Aids in Las Cruces, NM from 1990 through 2012. During this time, I also traveled to and served the hearing impaired in the surrounding cities of Ruidoso, Alamogordo, Truth or Consequences, Deming and Silver City. I am also licensed in Texas and National Board Certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences (BC-HIS). I was appointed by Governor Richardson to two 2-year terms on the New Mexico State Board of Speech-Language Pathologists, Audiologists, and Hearing Instrument Dispensers. While on the board, I served some time as Vice President, presided over a few hearings and was on the sunset committee that was responsible for rewriting, clarifying and adding more restrictive qualifications to the law that governs those under the board.

In October of 2012, I was offered a wonderful opportunity to work as a regional training manager for a major hearing aid manufacturer. In this position, I was responsible for one-on-one and group trainings that included hearing evaluation protocols, product information, programming and customer service excellence.

While I was traveling all over the U.S and Puerto Rico, I had the pleasure of sitting in and helping other Hearing Care Professionals work with their patients. I found, over these 5 years, that I miss the long-term connection that is made with the people we help. While working in my office, my patients were my family. I want to be in a place where I can work with the patient from the first step through the door all the way to finding success with hearing aids. There is no feeling like the one I get when I am helping someone go through the steps of relearning to communicate and participate in their lives.

I have always dreamed of having my own office and am now VERY excited to open Celestial Hearing Solutions in Las Cruces.
